Amazon will slash 30 per cent off Sony and Canon cameras on Amazon Prime Day. That’s according to a sneak peak we’ve seen from the retailer, which shows the giant promising to knock up to almost a third off the price of its Sony and Canon camera stock.

Amazon Prime Day starts at noon on Monday 16th July, with thousands of deals and offers set to go live between then and midnight.
To participate in Prime Day you’ll need to be a member of Amazon Prime – but you can sign up at any time, or start a free 30-day trial to take advantage of the deals. (If you don’t want to continue the service after the event, you can simply cancel your trial before the 30 days are up.)
Amazon Prime Day is the online retailer’s summertime answer to Black Friday. It’s a fairly recent event: it first took place in 2015 to celebrate Amazon’s 20th birthday, and has evolved quickly. This year’s Prime Day promises to be the biggest and best so far.
