The Sony Cyber-shot DSC RX100 VI is the newest pocketable small camera to include a 1″-type image sensor, joining the ranks of other recent models. As compared to previous RX100 models, the RX100 M6 moves into the do-it-all/travel camera category with the inclusion of an F2.8-4.5 lens with a focal length similar to 24-200mm.
It has many of the same features as its immediate predecessor, including fast and precise on-sensor phase detection autofocus, the ability to shoot at up to 24 frames per second, and the ability to capture extremely detailed 4K video across the whole width of the sensor. A touchscreen is included, making it the first RX100-series camera to do so. It also features a new electronic viewfinder that can be used or stowed away with a single button press.
