The EOS M50 Mark II from Canon is their newest entry-level mirrorless camera. And it’s a camera that they’ve catered primarily to content producers or hybrid shooters. But even so, in the EOS M roster, it is their most flexible and well-rounded choice. Possibly their most successful and best-selling entry-level camera is its ancestor, the EOS M50. So it will make sense to see them try to refresh the line finally, double down, and continue their success. Yet the Mark II continues to be somewhat an irrelevant upgrade on paper on its predecessor.
The Canon EOS M50 Mark II is an APS-C (22.3 x 14.9 mm) shaped CMOS sensor, built-in image stabilization, a completely articulated touch screen, and Canon EF-M lens mount mirrorless 24.0MP entry-level camera. Canon has substituted this variant for the older M50.
As the successor to one of the most successful mirrorless cameras of all time, the Canon EOS M50 Mark II has finally arrived, and it is safe to assume that it is not quite what we, or the recent reports, had in mind. Second, the Canon EOS M50 Mark II will not be accessible in all regions initially, with Europe, the Middle East, and Africa all left out, at least for now.
Many of the speculated features in the past month, including the latest Digic X processor or a new sensor, are also absent in the new Canon EOS M50 successor.
The EOS M50 Mark II, instead, is an incredibly minor refresh of the lightweight, EF-M camera that was launched at the beginning of 2018. Do you want to know whether or not it’s the model for your photographic life to fill the lightweight mirrorless camera-shaped hole? Here’s what we’ve heard about the EOS M50 Mark II, like where you can get it.
