Eine neue Version der DJI Fly-App fügt neue Funktionen für die Mavic 3-Drohne hinzu.

A lot of work has been done by DJI recently to change the firmware code for some of its most popular products. If you bought a Mavic 3 drone in November 2021, DJI said it would be able to do certain things. This time, the drone’s code has been cleaned up. Things like quick shots and panorama modes are now available. The most important thing is that D-Log can now be shown in color.

v1.5.8 of the iOS and Android versions of the DJI Fly app have been updated to work with the new hardware. If you want to get the most out of it, you also need to update your Mavic 3 drone and its controller to version v01.00.0500 (Drone) and v04.13.0500 (controller) (controller). Everything can be done through the app, as always.

This time, DJI has put together a long list of changes in the changelog. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case; more often than not, it says “bugs fixed.” View Assist, QuickShot presets, panorama modes, digital zoom, and QuickTransfer are all features that DJI promised when they released the Mavic 3 a few years ago. These features have now been implemented.

There will be a new Mavic 3 drone from DJI called the Mavic 3. It will be released in November of that year.

DJI Mavic 3 firmware update

Full list of features and bugs that have been fixed with the new v01.00.0500 firmware and the new v1.5.8 DJI Fly app:

  • Dronie, Rocket, Circle, Helix, Boomerang, and Asteroid are some of the new QuickShots.
  • Added a Panorama mode that can take pictures at a high resolution.
  • Added a burst mode.
  • When you’re recording video, you can now use digital zoom.
  • Color Display Assist has been added to D-Log.
  • Added 4K/60fps and the ability to change the EI setting for MasterShots.
  • QuickTransfer has been added to the list of apps.
  • It now lets you zoom in and record in D-Log with FocusTrack while recording video, which makes the video look better.
  • Added the ability to set the altitude of RTH for Advanced RTH, so that you can do this.
  • Added a USB mode for the Mavic 3 Cine to copy data.
  • A better way to correct the color of things.
  • Increased sharpness when taking pictures with a Telephoto lens at a high magnification.
  • An area that is best for Timelapse photos.
  • Added support for the DJI RC Pro to send clean HDMI footage to the TV.
  • New: DJI RC Pro can now store and download video to an SD card from the DJI app.
  • It now lets you use DJI RC Pro with DJI Air 2S.
  • Fixed a few small bugs.

To do this, you need to have the DJI Fly App v1.5.8. This is how DJI says it:

  • DJI Fly v1.5.8 or later is needed to use the new things.
  • After updating the firmware, USB mode will be turned off. Users can turn on USB again in DJI Fly.
  • You can try again if you can’t get the update to work. You can restart the aircraft, the remote controller, and DJI Fly or DJI Assistant 2.
