The Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 Lens for Fujifilm X has been confirmed.

The Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN | Contemporary Lens will be available for Fujifilm X-mount cameras, it has been confirmed.

Three new F1.4 prime lenses for Fujifilm X-mount camera systems have been announced by Sigma. Sigma’s first offers for Fujifilm’s APS-C interchangeable lens camera system are the 16mm F1.4 DC DN, 30mm F1.4 DC DN, and 56mm F1.4 DC DN.

SIGMA is excited to announce that interchangeable lenses for Fujifilm X Mount mirrorless cameras will be available soon. This upgrade allows users to use SIGMA lenses in native mount on their X Mount system, which provides outstanding performance and quality.

The wide-angle prime 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, the standard prime 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, and the telephoto 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary are the first three X Mount lenses from SIGMA, completing a full system for mirrorless camera users.

In addition, the 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary, a small, lightweight, high-performance large-diameter standard zoom lens that will be delivered in October 2021, is now being developed for X Mount. The world of X Mount will be expanded further.

According to a press statement from Sigma America, the X-mount version of the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN | Contemporary will be released in December 2022.
