With a new Focus Hold feature and LED indicator, Samyang’s AF 24mm f/1.8 FE lens for astrophotography has been officially revealed. The lens is small and compact, and it works well with Sony E-Mount cameras.
The Samyang AF 24mm f/1.8 FE lens weights just 230g, has a length of 71mm, and has 11 elements in 8 classes (7 special elements – 2 ASP, 3 HR, 2 ED). It features a 9-bladed iris, a 58mm filter thread, and a 19-cm near focus gap.
For astrophotography, the Samyang AF 24mm f/1.8 FE Lens has a new feature named “Custom Mode,” which has a “Guided indicator.” The newly built Focus Hold button can be used to activate the “Custom Mode.”
